Istanbul's Prince Islands

ISTANBUL'S PRINCE ISLANDS

If you have time, and if you have the possibility of seeing the Prince's Islands, close to İstanbul and can spend a peaceful weekend away. Arrangement of the Islands respectively; Kınalıada, Burgazada, Heybeliada and Büyükada.

Büyükada

The island's most popular activity is undoubtedly carriage ride. The island's steep North-South as the Yoruk Ali on either side of the Cape and the Naga Beach, Luna Park, Aşıklar, Viranbağ casinos ,break-woods, one starting from the pier of the island all circulating around the big tour that you can with the carriage ride tour. Luna Park trips with fancy ass in Büyükada excursion has become the main entertainment. The island's highest peak, there is  Aya Yorgi Church and Abbey. Christos Church is on Jesus  Hill and Abbey. Church of Ayios Dimitrios, in the beach of the island is one of the important religious structures.

Heybeliada

Just not by nature, fresh air and beauty, Sanatorium, Clergy (Priests) is also famous for its institutions such as the school. Important structures of the island, the naval school, the Holy spring, Turkey's first sanatorium Ofemya Aye Heybeliada Sanatorium (founded: 1924)

Burgazada

The island is only on the top of Flag Hill. Beautiful wooden pavilions usually beachcombing Street, at the foot of the hill overlooking the street of Gönüllü, Kaşıkadası and Heybeliada and Mehtap is on the streets.

The cemetery is located on the beach south of the Cape. This is the camel's nose in the southern shores of the island to rock. This is the Flag Hill is steep with position. Hristos Monastery on the hill that rises like a wall from the shore there. In the same direction from the shore becomes continue to arrive to Kalpazankaya. Located right next to the small bays at  Kalpazankaya, Burgas is one of the promenade. South of Marta Kalpazankaya Bay, northwest side Aya Yorgi Abbey.

Kınalıada

Kinaliada, is one of the smallest  islands among the islands of İstanbul.
Sycamore Hill, Teşvikiye Hill and Monastery Hill are the three hills of island. In the island, due to the very rocky, wooded is second state. In the Byzantine period,it is known that the stone cliffs were brought here for the construction of the walls. The most noticeable feature on the island, Sycamore Hill is a large radio and television antennas. It is much more quiet than other islands.
