Perşembe District is slow city (cittaslow) of Ordu.And Perşembe District of Ordu-Samsun highway,it is the case of a natural cove.It is a seaside town. On the north of the city there is Black Sea,on the east there is Ordu, on the west Fatsa and there is a Ulubey town on the south. Ordu center distance of the town is 13 km. The surface area of the city is 224 Km.
Perşembe harbor is the case, the second largest natural harbor in the eastern Black Sea. A typical Black Sea climate is dominant. There is rainfall in all months of the year.The winter months are normally rainy and mild. Air temperature ranges from 25-30 degrees in the summer.In terms of vegetation it is covered with various plants.Most of which vegetation is nuts.

There are small inshore bays,it is located in a small bay beaches.The main stream of the following; Akçaova,Efirli,Kacalı,Kozağzı,Kurtuluş creeks.
Perşembe District is hosting both the sea and the natural elements.Perşembe(Ordu), the coast, authentic of all the Black Sea coast, has a spectacular and a fascinating views.
Fruit and vegetables are rich in species, is the reason why a variety of regional dishes.
Historically at least three thousand years of history Perşembe city, has remained little work space and surviving.In Ottoman era, we understand from Evliya Celebi's work that there was the bath and a small bazaar and some inns in Perşembe.
Medreseönü Afırlı Mosque, Doganlı Hasan Efendi Tomb,Yasonburnu Peninsula, Hoynat Island, Soğukpınar Cemetery and Historical Mosque,Efirli Mosque and Cemetery are the historical places that one can to see and visit.
Perşembe coasts, bays, underwater caves, interesting rock formations, rising right along the coast, beaches, would supply an exceptional location for its natural scenery. This coast, for a variety of underwater and above-water boat tourism and sports are very convenient.

Yasonburnu Lighthouse:
It was opened in 1964.The altitude of lighthose is 11 meter.
Yasonburnu:
This town is 15 km. and is located to the west.It is in Çaytepe village.This town is 1st degree archaeological place, 2nd degree is a natural protected area.20 days in the summer, the rising and setting of the sun, can be traced to the naked eye.Culture and history on this lovely peninsula has a church belonging to the Ministry of Tourism, in 1869, by the Greek Cypriots living in the area. Here in terms of faith and cultural tourism, it has a different significance.From one end to the other end of the east coast of the peninsula completely, as if it were decorated with oyster and mussel shells.
Another feature of the peninsula, on the sea front along the Black Sea coast, is the only peninsula on which the church.

Bogazcik (Bahçeköy) Cave:
This cave is a major touristical instance of a cave tourism.Bogazcik cave located only 2 km at a distance of from Çaka area and it is depth 300 m.This cave is very close to the beach. To reach the cave, you have to walk 500 m long footpath. It can be considered quite young stalactites and stalagmites inside the cave is very interesting. After a certain point, it is difficult to walk forward both dangerous.

The most famous, on the outskirts Hoynat, located just above the sea and is now a well-known place Vonalı Celal.This place is undergoing a lot of domestic and foreign tourists. Saraybosna restaurant in the village of Çaytepe is an eating and drinking place.
There are two hotels in the town center. One of them is Dedeevi. The hotel is a two star. Hotel has got Ministry of Culture and Tourism Management certification.
The other is the Anafor Hotel. The hotel is located in the seaside neighborhood Kacali.
