Things to do in Ödemiş : Hypaiap ancient city ruins shows that the area comes from ancient times. Birgi is listed at "World Heritage" list and a religious tourism place. Highlights of the county Cakiraga Mansion, Imam Birgivi Madrasa of Sultan Shah Mausoleum.
Izmir occurred in the plains and mountainous areas. Mountains extending east-west direction of the city. The main altitudes of the province in the north are Çıralı Mountain, Yunta Hill and Geyikli Mountain. In the central part it has Bozdag and Aydın mountains. The most important river of this basin is the Gediz River. The length of 400 km from the Gediz River. In the Izmir city boundaries, there are small lakes between mountain ranges in some places. Izmir's some important small lakes are Belevi Lake, Karagöl Çakalboğaz. On Yamanlar Mountain, there is Karagöl lake which is result of the tectonic shift that has occurred. In the mythology of Tantalus myth you can see Karagöl name.
Things to do in Siren Rocks - Foca
Siren Rocks which is in he Izmir 's Foca district is the habitat of seals. The seals lives between the rocky caves. Siren rocks are mentioned in the ancient Greek mythology. And also at Homeros's epic Siren Rocks are mentioned.
Things to do in Homer Caves - Buca / Izmir
Caves are near to River Meles of Buca district in Izmir province and It is said that in ancient times the famous poet Homer wrote his poem at Homer Caves.

The 8,000 hectares where Tekel Çamaltı Tuzlası placed has been registered as the area of protection and breeding water birds. It is 10 km. away from Izmir's Çiğli district. Some of the brooding bird species in this area are: Flamingo, Dalmatian Pelican, Storks, Lesser Kestrel, Susan, Shelduck, oyster catcher, avocet, Terns, Silver Seagull, Longshanks, crested lark.
