Things to do in Antalya - Some places to visit in Antalya

Antalya is one of the most popular holiday destinations of Turkey  and it is located in southern of Turkey. It is a city where you can have all the beauties of the Mediterranean.There are many civilizations lived like the Roman, Ottoman. Antalya has many important and historical places to visit and I've listed some of them below with its  cultural tourism, sea, sports, health, winter, convention, springs, caves, camping and religious tourism  in Antalya. And also  Cleopatra, Konyaalti and Lara beaches are very popular.

Etenna Ancient City
Etenna is located in the Sırt village and it is one of the ancient city of Antalya.
Etenna ancient city has witnessed the history of the Antalya.

Manavgat River
If you are planing to have a vacation in Antalya, Manavgat River is the one of the places to visit. Tourists can participate in the daily boat trips. The river host fish species like Carp, trout, bass.

Aslanlı Cave
The total length of the cave is 110 meters and has vertical and horizontal parts. Aslanlı Cave is one of the most popular place in Antalya and  it has an interesting view with stalactites and stalagmites.

Seleukia Ancient City
It is located Antalya's Manavgat district and after passing from pine trees you experience a beautiful landscape. It contains a sacred cave at the ancient city on the western slope. One of the important finds from the ancient city  is Seven Sages Mosaic.

Side Ancient City
The ancient city is located at Manavgat distict and the repaired bath which is opposite of Agora being used as Side museum now. Side Theatre shows features of typical Roman with a capacity of about 15,000. Side ancient city has been the important port of the Mediterranean, cultural and educational center in different historical periods.

Karain Cave
Karain Cave has some ruins from 500,000 years ago and it is one of the largest natural cave and and it has historical importances.

Olimpos
It is established in Hellenistic period at ancient Lycian city harbor. It has a beautiful natural environment and there are kinds of accommodation alternatives to stay like tree house.

Side Underwater Museum
This is the second biggest underwater museum in the world and it is an important place for underwater tourism of Antalya. There are sculptures of different themes such as the statue of Poseidon, liberation war, whirling dervishes and more.

Xanthos-Letoon Ancient Cities
It is located in the UNESCO World Heritage List at 1988 and it is one of the major tourist areas. Xanthos was the largest administrative center of Lycia in ancient times and Letoon was the religious center of the Lycia in ancient times.

Alanya Castle
Alanya is one of the major holiday location of Antalya with it's beatiful beaches, sea and hotels. Alanya castle is one of the symbols in Alanya and it's important point for tourism in Alanya. Alanya castle has beautiful views of sunset. The length of the wall of Alanya castle is about 6.5 kilometers.

Çıralı 
Çıralı is located between Kemer and Kumluca and Loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta Caretta) come to the Çıralı's beautiful beach every year to spawn.

Düden Waterfalls
It is located nearly 10 km from the Antalya city center and every year welcomes many tourists from all over the world.

Aspendos
Aspendos is a amphitheater which has reached today and it is located in Antalya's Serik district. According to Greek legend, the city was founded by Argive colonists with leadership of hero Mopsos who came to Pamphylia after the Trojan War.

St. Nicholas Church
It is located in Demre, Antalya. It was built after death of St. Nicholas. St. Nicholas is believed that he was Santa Claus.

Yivli Minare
It is believed that Yivli Minare have been built in 13th century by Seljuks and it  is one of the first Islamic buildings in Antalya.
