The city is located in the Konak Square, the symbol of the structure in 1901,İzmir Clock Tower  was built by Grand Vizier, Mehmet Sait Pasha,French architect Raymond Charles Pêr'e'y.The tower is 25 meters tall and 4 fountain,and it is the gift of time by the Germans.

The Clock was built in 1901 because of  the 25th anniversary of the enthronement of Sultan Abdulhamid II. The architect of the tower has signed many works in İzmir architect Raymond Charles Pere.

Built around the tower is 25 meters high four fountains, architectural style of the column is North Africa.It has the collection within the Islamic religious elements.The most important feature of the tower, the German Emperor II. Wilhelm is the gift of time is that it has never stopped since opening date.

Decorates Konak Square and is the symbol of the İzmir Clock Tower really is an elegant work of art.It is the first and common  place to prefer to meet someone.Still it continues to tell the time.
The square is a nice meeting place of vitality during the day light, also with beautiful lighting at night.
