Sapanca Lake Sakarya

Sapanca lake is very good place to have a rest. It is surrounded by very beautiful forest and clean air. You can find delicious trout restaurants near to lake and also it has a good potential for investment in real estate.

Sapanca  lake located east of Izmit Bay. The length is 16 km surface area of 42 km2 and the widest point is between Sapanca against shore is about 5.5 km. The lake level is the lowest in the fall is highest in the spring. 

The lake often visited by tourists who is traveling Sakarya in summer or winter. There are several fish restaurants and hostels along the coast of Sapanca Lake. On the lake; pike, catfish, carp and trout species live. In the holiday in Sapanca you can join a trekking tours and you can canoe on the lake. Sapanca Lake is one of the most peaceful geographical beauty of Sakarya.

Sapanca's location is 20 minutes away Cengiz Topel Airport and 50 minutes away from Sabiha Gokcen Airport. Beside Sapanca district is known closely to the Istanbul and which makes it popular place for resting in the weekends for daily visitors from Istanbul. It has become a favorite of Arab investors in recent years. The price of the land saw the lake in Kirkpinar is high.
