Cappadocia- Peri Bacaları-Ürgüp

Up to now on, millions of years ago the region of Cappadocia was an inland sea, archaeological excavations in the South of the region, the presence of fossil sea creatures affirmed this thesis .

In the Centre of our world, together with the mobilization of the Earth's crust magma deep in the Earth's crust, hot lava found in the crack by finding ways of Erciyes, Hasan mountain and Güllüdağ  are the volcano eruption on Earth begins. This event dried up the sea and the sea is located along with  the volcanic, bustling place with lava pits in the region started to fill up. The first factor of the occurance of fairy chimneys of the lava pit is accumulated in a region.

Cappadocia

Volcanos out after commissioning is entering rivers. Hardened lava flowing over the rocks, the eroding streams, deep valleys, causing the  formation. Because of the effects of the wind erosion of different aspects of the parts due to a wavy appearance is seen.To the continue of the wind erosion by leaving some sections from the main track, fairy chimneys get its formation.

Finally, we talk about how the fairy chimneys formed like a hat. This part of top layer is harder and heavier, the lower tier of the lava layers of softer and lighter regions are observed. Hat of the heavy downward pressured to the lower layer by making light of the layer to harden to the part of the under part of the rock caused by wind is becoming more resistant to the erosion. Because of the corrosion continues, although it is slowly, one day this part of the hat will fall and surviving parts which are eroded easily and in a conclusion fairy chimneys will disappear.

When you visit this village which are made from fairy chimneys you can feel yourself with a mystical film in a prehistoric plateau. Did you think that why it is called fairies?
Here's to understand this, you have to come to Cappadocia, you're going to think that you might be in a fairy tale that you believe it or not...
